  1. "Long Live Rock and Roll" is Ritchie Blackmore's third post-Deep Purple album. Though Rainbow was started and controlled by Blackmore, this album is also and equally representative of singer/songwriter Ronnie James Dio's talents, and of the special magic that the two of them create together.

  3. There is no doubt about it. I guess that "Long Live Rock & Roll" is the most impressive LP by Rainbow. In addition, the album itself is still a milestone in the history of hard rock and heavy metal. In a word, the album is a masterpiece. Ronnie James /5().

  7. The only thing preventing me from giving it the maximum star rating is the final track which seems out of place on this album. "Rainbow Eyes" is a very slow track with flute and a string quartet, surely not in keeping with the title "Long Live Rock 'n' Roll".Reviews:
